Further to our announcement of 9th April 2021 DVSA has confirmed that classroom based ADR training delivered by third-parties can restart in Scotland on 26 April 2021.
DVSA still encourages ADR training to be delivered remotely where possible to help restrict the spread of the virus. You can read more about these measures and stopping the spread of coronavirus on GOV.UK and on the Scottish Government’s website.
In line with the above guidance we are continuing to offer ADR ‘online’ with candidates needing to come into the classroom on the final day of the week only, in order to sit the exams.
- This means that for ‘packages only’ the online training is completed via ZOOM Monday to Wednesday with the exams on the Thursday
- For ‘tanks & packages’ the online training is completed via Zoom Monday to Thursday with the exams being completed on the Friday
Added to this we will be using the ‘on-line’ assessments for all modules, meaning candidates will receive their ADR card within 7 days compared to 6 weeks for those sitting standard paper exams
- Cost for the ‘full’ 5 days ADR, which would give the 7 core classes in Tanks AND Packages is just £564* (this price includes VAT and all exam fees etc)
- Costs for the 4 days ADR, which would give the 7 core classes in Packages is just £469** (this price includes VAT and all exam fees etc)
Another bonus is that the ‘training’ elements of the ADR training can also be counted towards Driver CPC training – so it’s win, win!!
*If you wish to add 28hrs Driver CPC to the’ Tanks and Packages’ course then there is an additional charge of £35 to cover the DSA upload fee
**If you wish to add 21hrs Driver CPC to the ‘Packages only’ course then there is an additional charge of £26.25 to cover the DSA upload fee.
